Umbels of yellow flowers age to orange-red for weeks in late spring and early summer. The gray-green spoon-shaped leaves form a low mound. Requires gravelly soil. Does not appreciate a wet site! Species is found in the Mntns. of So. Ore and No. Cal. (Shrub)
